Found bird's nest of plastic netting and other unnatural fibres,  2016. Detail on billboard, MoreArt festival, 2016. Dawson St, Brunswick, Melbourne. Displayed for 6 months from October 2016-May 2017

A bird’s nest, found by the roadside, is suspended in space and illuminated brilliantly from all sides. The nest consists of mostly unnatural fibres that have been gathered by a wild bird, including plastic netting and rope threads. This specimen raises questions about the passage of our constructed materials through the environment, and their entanglement with the processes of the natural world.
